A judge dismissed the charges against a Hispanic TikTok influencer who was shot by an immigration agent during an arrest in October in South Los Angeles.
According to the magistrate, TikToker Carlitos Ricardo Parias, known on social media as Richard LA, was denied access to his lawyers while in federal custody. The incident occurred at approximately 8:52 a.m. on October 21, in the 400 block of East 20th Street, where federal officials said an operation began to apprehend an undocumented immigrant who had previously evaded capture.
