The Guatemalan owner and chef of a popular South Los Angeles restaurant is in danger of being deported after being arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
On Saturday morning May 9, chef Carlos Lool was arrested by masked immigration agents.
“This is heartbreaking. For everyone who ICE has taken a family member or a loved one, it is very sad and very humiliating“, declared Lool's partner and girlfriend, Jenna Lawrence, in an interview with the ABC network.
