The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, founded by filmmaker George Lucas and his wife Mellody Hobson, will open in Los Angeles on September 22, 2026, it was announced Wednesday.
With Costing $1 billion, the museum has been under construction in the Exposition Park area since 2018 and is designed to celebrate illustrated storytelling, with extensive collections ranging from fine art to film memorabilia. The structure is 300,000 square feet, with five levels, housing 35 galleries spanning 100,000 square feet.
