Mexican couple arrested for theft of LEGO products in Orange

A Mexican couple was arrested accused of shoplifting after being caught buying LEGO product sets, taking the figures as inside and, later, returning the boxes for refunds, according to investigators in Orange County.
Adriana Esquerra González, 29 years old, and Luis Alfredo Quintanilla Pompa, 30 years old, both from Tijuana, Mexico, were identified by the authorities as those responsible for theft.
According to the Irvine Police Department (IPD), the Esquerra-González and Quintanilla-Poma couple were initially seen purchasing LEGO sets at a Target store and immediately returning them to the stores without the figures included.
