Kentucky authorities reported that they are searching for a 22-year-old university student, identified as Murry Alexis Foust, who was last seen on April 27 in the Latonia neighborhood, in Covington.
According to the Covington Police Department, the most recent surveillance images show the young woman from Northern Kentucky University walking through the area around 6:00 p.m., carrying a light-colored backpack.
Investigation without indications of crime
The police reported that, to date, there are no signs that the disappearance is related to a criminal act. However, the authorities stressed that concerns remain about the safety of the student.
Specialized teams, including water rescue and drone operators, are participating in the search operation.
The father of the young woman indicated that unconfirmed reports have been received about possible sightings, although none have been verified.
Friends of Foust noted that the student planned to attend classes on the day of her disappearance. Her phone was found in her residence, while her backpack appeared on the university campus.
University collaborates in the search
The university confirmed that it is cooperating with the authorities and expressed concern about the situation. The student is studying in Fine Arts and was close to graduation.
