Angel Urena, spokesman for former President Clinton, stated that the investigation into Epstein
The spokesman for former President Bill Clinton denounced that the White House is using him after publishing photographs that are part of the files released by the Department of Justice in the Jeffrey Epstein case. In some images, the former president appears in a pool with Ghislaine Maxwell and a young woman whose face is covered. The Department of Justice (DOJ) released 3,965 PDF files containing photographs and documents related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein, who died in a prison cell in 2019. Among the released photographs are several of Bill Clinton during gatherings with the accused. In one photo, the former president is seen in a pool with Ghislaine Maxwell; in another, in a jacuzzi with a young woman whose face is covered; and in others, he appears with young women whose faces are obscured, as well as with celebrities.
Angel Urena, Clinton's spokesperson, stated that the investigation into Epstein “is not about Bill Clinton.”
“There are two types of people here. The first group knew nothing and cut ties with Epstein before his crimes came to light. The second group continued the relationship afterward. We are in the first group. No amount of evasion by the people in the second group will change that,” Urena pointed out on X.
They are hiding a truth they don't want to come to light
Urena criticized the Trump Administration's strategy for releasing the files, asserting that the White House is using the former president's image to hide a truth they don't want to come to light.
“So they can release “You can have all the grainy photos from over 20 years ago, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton. It never has been and it never will be,” he added. In his message, he mentions White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, who stated in a Vanity Fair interview that “Donald Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton.”Regarding the alleged relationship between Epstein and himself.
“Everyone, especially those who support the MAGA movement, expects answers and not scapegoats,” the spokesman concluded.
Clinton has maintained that he cut ties with Epstein around 2005, before the financier pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor in Florida. However, Trump asked the DOJ to “investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton.”
