California
In this state, the stimulus check comes from a Family Economic Support Pilot Program (FFESP) specifically for families living in Sacramento County.
To receive this financial assistance, residents must meet the following requirements: live in Sacramento in the following zip codes: 95815, 95821, 95823, 95825, 95828, or 95838; have a child between the ages of 0 and 5; and have an annual income below 200% of the federal poverty level.
According to details on the program's website, eligible families will receive $725 per month for one year. The tentative distribution date for this benefit is the 15th of each month.
New York
In this state, residents have faced the high cost of living due to high inflation, so authorities indicated that an economic stimulus will be distributed to approximately 8 million taxpayers.
To receive this stimulus check, residents must have filed Form IT-201 on their Resident Income Tax Return. Additionally, they must not have been claimed as a dependent on another tax return, and their reported income must be within the state's eligibility thresholds.
According to New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, the amount of this one-time check will be $400, and the money will be sent automatically to those who qualify.
Alaska
Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) payments will continue in November in Alaska, and according to to the Department of Revenue website, residents with "Eligible-Not Paid" status as of November 12, 2025, will receive their money on November 20, 2025.
The PFD distributes profits from natural resources such as mining and oil to residents. This year's payments reach $1,700 in a single payment to those who meet the eligibility requirements.
