Aleks Syntek caused a stir again by talking about Shakira. Recently, the Mexican singer claimed that the Barranquilla native flirted with him a few years ago.

In an interview with Azteca for El Mundo, the singer of "Duele el amor" spoke about his relationship with the Colombian singer, whom he claims he has known for many years.

"I've known her since I was a child. I used to babysit Shakira in Argentina on MTV shows. I was 20 and she was 17 or 18. She wanted to go out to clubs and didn't have anyone to accompany her. Her parents loved me very much, we ate together. I used to take her to clubs," Syntek said.

The Mexican singer also told a funny anecdote about the Barranquilla native. Syntek said that a few years ago Shakira flirted with him in front of his wife.

"Shakira sees me and says: 'How handsome! What did you do, Alex? You look good, kid!' I said, 'Thank you very much, I'm coming with my wife and my daughter,'" said the singer, who also shared Shakira's response at the time: "Is she your daughter?"
