Celerio Sales Growth in August 2022: In August 2022, the sales of Maruti Celerio (Maruti Suzuki Celerio) increased by 1094% on a year-on-year basis. A total of 53 units were sold in August 2021 while Maruti Celerio sold 5,852 units in August 2022. In terms of sales growth percentage, Maruti Celerio tops the top 25 best-selling cars in the country. Its sales jumped on a year-on-year basis, which has not been seen in the sales of any other car. However, in terms of sales units, it has been ranked 23rd in the top-25 list in August 2022. Only the Maruti Suzuki Ignis (5,746 units sold) and the Kia Carens (5,558 units sold) are below this in the list.

It is worth noting that with the arrival of the new model of Celerio, its demand has increased. Currently, the company sells petrol and CNG models of the Celerio. It is one of the highest mileage cars in the country. It gives maximum mileage on CNG. The company claims that Maruti Celerio gives a mileage of 35.60 km on CNG. It can give mileage of up to 26.68 km on petrol. Its starting price is Rs 5.25 lakh, ex-showroom. However, it is not of the CNG model but of the petrol model. The CNG model is costlier than this.  

The new K10C Dualjet 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine in the Celerio comes, which is capable of generating 66 hp power and 89 Nm torque. It gets the option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with a start/stop system. It has a fuel tank (petrol) of 32 liters. It gets hill hold assist, sharp dash lines and twin-slot AC vents with chrome accents. It has a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio display, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
