Sam's Club will expand its Sunday hours starting October 12, learn all the details
Sam's Club, the membership-based warehouse chain and subsidiary of Walmart, announced an important change to its Sunday hours. Starting October 12, customers will be able to shop and enjoy club services earlier and longer, thanks to the expansion of Sunday hours in response to “overwhelming feedback” from its members, explained Steven Zapata, director of corporate communications for Sam's Club.
Changes to Sunday hours and benefits for Plus members
Until now, Sam's Club was open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, with the new adjustment, branches will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, with some exceptions, giving shoppers more time to shop and take advantage of all services.
Plus members, the highest membership level, will continue to enjoy the exclusive benefit of early access. Customers will now be able to enter stores from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. every day, including Sundays, allowing them to shop before the rest of the members.

The new Sunday hours include different hours for specific services, which are important to our customers:
These hours reflect an effort to offer greater convenience and flexibility to customers, who will now be able to better adjust their visits based on their needs and availability.
Holiday Hours Adjustments
In addition to the Sunday change, Sam's Club has also adjusted its holiday hours. Traditionally, stores closed at 6 p.m. on dates such as Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and New Year's Eve. Now, these days, they will remain open until 8 p.m. local time, providing more time for shopping.
It's worth noting that, as before, stores will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will remain closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
How to find your nearest Sam's Club
For those who want to take advantage of the new hours and visit Sam's Club, the company offers a store locator on its official website, where you can check the nearest branches, their specific hours and available services.
With these changes, Sam's Club seeks to improve the experience of its members, adapting to their schedules and needs, and maintaining competitiveness in the warehouse club market.
