Authorities opened fire on a man armed with a baseball bat, who was wounded when he attempted to break into an apartment early Tuesday morning in the Winnetka neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that officers responded to the area of Saticoy Street and Oso Avenue at approximately 2:15 a.m.
