Alexander Schecter, 24, was initially arrested on March 12 for allegedly briefly kidnapping two college students four days earlier in the 500 block of Landfair Avenue.

The two students were being dropped off in the area at approximately 3:00 am on March 8 when the suspect allegedly prevented them from getting out of his vehicle and threatened them.
