According to court documents issued by the Supreme Court of Suffolk County, in New York, the divorce decree was made official on June 12 and made public on June 23.
Although the cause of divorce was not listed in the documentation, it was reported that both celebrities agreed to the terms, including the division of assets and additional details. For this reason, they only required judicial approval.
It was on May 27, 2025 when Deborra-Lee Furness filed the divorce petition with respect to Hugh Jackman before the New York Court. However, the former couple shared with the public their desire to go their separate ways in September 2023, after 27 years of marriage.
