Lili Estefan daughter highlighted the role that Clarissa Molina played in her appointment as Miss Cuba
The model Lina Luaces, who is the daughter of Lili Estefan, opened up in a conversation she had with Clarissa Molina about the importance that the Dominican presenter had in her recent triumph as Miss Cuba.
Lina spoke about this topic during her recent visit to 'El "Gordo y La Flaca," the Univision show that her mother has hosted for 27 years and of which Clarissa is also a part.
"Clarissa, I would say that I couldn't have done this without you. I sent her messages almost every day: 'Clarissa, help me, I'm a model, I don't know how to do this, I need your advice,' but she helped me a lot. I'm so grateful to have a friend in this industry," said the current Miss Cuba, while hugging the former Miss Dominican Republic representative.
After Lina's comments, Clarissa pointed out that the young woman always embraced and humbly accepted the advice she gave her, which would have been key to her being able to achieve her personal goals in the beauty pageant.
"When you called in that emotional state and with so many questions and doubts, you always received them with a humble heart and that is very important in this journey, your humility, receiving the advice, the criticism constructive,” Clarissa told her about the stance taken by the young woman born in the United States, but of Caribbean roots.
Although there are still four months left until the Miss Universe pageant, to be held in Thailand, Lina Luaces is already very immersed in her role and has already begun to watch everything she eats.
“Thailand awaits me, I am very dedicated to this and I know that I can achieve anything with discipline,” continued Lina, who does not believe that her new role will be synonymous with sacrifices, but rather something she needs to do to achieve her goals.
Lina announced that in these previous months she will be fully committed to the gym, as well as taking public speaking classes in Spanish and English, because she wants to leave the best impression at the pageant that will bring together the most beautiful women on the planet.
