Karol G is preparing to release Tropicoqueta, her long-awaited fifth studio album. The Colombian singer's new album will arrive this Friday.
Last week, the singer revealed some of the titles of the 20 songs that will make up the album. She did so with billboards in several cities around the world.
Although the singer did not reveal with whom she will sing some of the songs, her fans began to speculate on social media about possible collaborations that Tropicoqueta could have.
Among the names that stood out were Bad Bunny, Rihanna and Natti Natasha. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
What are the names of the songs on Tropicoqueta?
Following the recent announcement of the “Provenza” singer’s new album, Karol G has been slowly revealing the names of the songs that shape Tropicoqueta in a creative way: on billboards in different countries.
This week, social media has been filled with photos of billboards with the names of some of the songs on Karol G’s new album.
So far, only the names of 8 of the 20 songs are known: “Dile Luna”, “Papasito”, “Latina Foreva”, “Cuando me muera, te olvido”, “Amiga mía”, “Ese hombre es malo”, “Viajando por el mundo” and “Si antes te había conocí”
Karol G also talked about how the idea for this album came about, with which she returns to her roots, to the music she grew up with. An idea that began to float around in her head during her Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful tour.
“Traveling the world with my last album, an album that gave me so much, I kept asking myself the same question: What’s the next step? What’s next for me? I think it wasn’t about looking further, but rather looking deeper… deeper into myself, into who I really am, into the things I like, into everything that represents me…”, the singer indicated in a post on her social networks.
