The digital violence she experienced as a result of her physical transformation to welcome 2026.
Mexican actress Ariadne Diaz is not willing to give in to her detractors and negative comments about her, as she recently demonstrated by speaking out against the digital violence she experienced as a result of her physical transformation to welcome 2026. We tell you what she said!
It was on December 6th when the star of “Dads for Convenience” took to her Instagram account to share a glimpse of the new look she debuted for the new year. It was a radical haircut with which she said “goodbye” to her characteristic brown hair. And while her most loyal followers showered her with compliments, there were also those who criticized her physical appearance to such an extent that the celebrity chose to speak out against digital violence. In a live broadcast from her Instagram account, Ariadne Diaz made her position clear: "As much as we talk about this issue of other people's bodies, we don't talk about it, including hair, right? I mean, in the sense of: I cut it, that's it. That hasn't happened yet. So, I feel comfortable, very at ease, and all the mistreatment is gone," she stated. Within her message, the small-screen star addressed the divided opinions generated by her new look and affirmed that although it has been a difficult task, nowadays she doesn't let criticism affect her. “The truth is "This career is so funny, and I'm going to tell you something that I feel has kept me in a much more peaceful place than if I didn't do the following: I never believe anything I'm full of," she explained to her fans. In addition to this, working on her self-love has been essential: "Having a mirror and not having body dysmorphia, and being able to look in the mirror and see if I liked it, if I didn't like it, if I would do it again, if I wouldn't do it again," she added. In this sense, Ariadne Diaz concluded her message of self-care, acceptance, and emotional balance by making a special mention of those internet users who are respectful on social media: “I appreciate your compliments. Thank you,” she said.
