Maserati updates its star models in an incredible way
The Italian brand updates the Grecale, GranTurismo and GranCabrio with more technology, power and electrification
Few brands have as strong a connection to their history as Maserati. However, the Italian manufacturer seems determined to demonstrate that the prestige of the past only has value if it is accompanied by innovation. With that idea as a starting point, it presented an important evolution of three of its most representative vehicles.

The renewal covers the Grecale SUV and the GranTurismo and GranCabrio sports cars, models that now incorporate advances in design, connectivity, performance and electrification. The offensive comes at a special time for the company, which is celebrating the centenary of its emblematic Trident.

In addition to remembering some of the most important chapters of its sporting career, the brand takes advantage of the occasion to show how it plans to compete in an increasingly technological and demanding market.
Sports cars that maintain the Maserati DNA
The new GranTurismo and GranCabrio retain the essence of the Italian grand tourers, although they present a more modern and aggressive image. The front was redesigned and adopts elements inspired by some of the most radical models recently developed by the firm.
Under the hood, the Trofeo versions increase their performance to 590 horsepower thanks to an evolution of the Nettuno biturbo V6 engine. This mechanism allows you to reach speeds of over 320 km/h without giving up the comfort characteristic of this type of vehicle.
The experience is also improved thanks to the standard all-wheel drive, an adaptive air suspension and an exhaust system that seeks to reinforce the sporty character of each acceleration.
Folgore expands the electric bet
Maserati continues to advance its electrification strategy with the expansion of the Folgore family. The GranTurismo Folgore incorporates an 800-volt architecture and three electric motors capable of delivering 760 horsepower continuously.
The technology developed by the brand allows it to achieve performance figures typical of a supercar, while offering a range of more than 540 kilometers.
For its part, the GranCabrio Folgore is positioned as one of the most exclusive electric convertibles on the market. With high-level features and a proposal focused on luxury, it seeks to compete with some of the most important references in the premium segment.
El Grecale gains prominence
While the GranTurismo represents the most emotional facet of Maserati, the Grecale has become a fundamental piece for the company's business.
The update introduces a sportier and more refined appearance. In the cabin, new materials, artisanal finishes and an atmosphere appear that reinforce the feeling of exclusivity that characterizes the Italian brand.
The technological equipment also receives important improvements. Highlights include a 12.3-inch central screen, information projection on the windshield and a Sonus Faber audio system with up to 21 speakers.
Personalization and technology as protagonists
Maserati is not abandoning combustion engines either. The Grecale maintains versions equipped with the well-known V6 Nettuno, available with powers of up to 530 horsepower in the Trofeo variant.
Along with the mechanical innovations, the company presented a new digital platform to configure its vehicles. The system uses photorealistic images and three-dimensional environments that allow you to explore colors, materials and options with a level of detail much higher than that of traditional configurators.
