Britney Spears would be living in a chaotic environment, according to relatives
According to sources consulted by Daily Mail and Page Six, the pop star would be living surrounded by excrement in her Thousand Oaks, California mansion
While the world continues to celebrate Britney Spears as an indestructible pop icon, behind the scenes her closest circle is struggling with a disturbing reality: the 'Toxic' star could be going through one of her most vulnerable moments since regaining her freedom in 2021.
According to sources close to the family, who spoke to the Daily Mail and Page Six, Britney currently lives in a mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, which—far from being a peaceful sanctuary—has become a physical and emotional mess.
“Her house is a mess. She doesn’t clean up after the dogs, she doesn’t have anyone cleaning every day, and she just doesn’t function like an adult would,” an insider revealed. The descriptions are stark: dog droppings strewn across the floor, objects thrown everywhere, and an atmosphere of disarray.
“Britney is going through an episode right now, and we’re going to see her fight it like she has for years,” one source said, trying to maintain a note of hope.
But the concern goes beyond the domestic mess. Another family member was more blunt: “She is not doing well at all. We are terrified for her future.”
Concerns for Britney are mounting
Alarm bells were raised last month when Britney posted a video on Instagram of herself dancing and singing—dressed in a polka-dotted pajama set and knee-high boots—while speaking in a British accent.
Behind her, the floor of her lavish mansion clearly showed stains that many interpreted as dog feces. “Playing with the lighting and cleaning my house like there’s no tomorrow ??,” she wrote in the caption, sounding a tone some considered disengaged.
Since her 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021, Britney has embraced her freedom with an uninhibited social media presence: nude posts, provocative dancing, even videos with sharp knives. While many fans celebrate her authenticity,Others—especially those close to her—are seeing warning signs.
“Those close to her have seen this over and over again,” a source told Page Six. “And although she’s being monitored, they’re not going to intervene in any way… for now.”
The star hasn’t commented yet. She’s used Instagram to debunk headlines in the past.
