Camilo reflected on fatherhood: “My daughters are the most valuable”
The singer confessed that being a father has been the ultimate mirror for understanding that fragility is not a weakness, but a fundamental essence of life
Camilo Echeverry and Evaluna Montaner reconnected with their audience through a more intimate and human facet: their family life.
As part of their YouTube series “Christmas Novena,” the couple dedicated a space to reflect on a concept that society often tries to avoid: vulnerability.
For the singer of “Vida de Rico,” being a father has been the ultimate mirror for understanding that fragility is not a weakness, but a fundamental essence of life.
“Seeing our daughters reminds us of this every day: what is most valuable is, at the same time, what is most fragile. And that is not a mistake. It is part of everything,” the artists expressed.
Camilo elaborated on this sentiment, admitting that, as a father, he constantly faces the instinct to protect his little ones because of their delicate nature. “They stumble, they fall, they cry… they need care all the time,” the singer explained, emphasizing that his daughters represent that balance between immeasurable value and the need for constant care.
The Colombian also confessed to an internal struggle that many parents share: the desire to skip the learning process and arrive directly at the “finished” or perfect version of themselves.
However, fatherhood has taught him that “nothing truly great starts out great.” According to Camilo, Christmas and raising children are constant reminders that dreams, relationships, and people are born vulnerable. This acceptance of humility and the gradual process is what, according to the artist, gives meaning to growth. With this reflection, Camilo and Evaluna not only strengthen their bond as a family, but also invite their followers to embrace their own insecurities, remembering that care and time are the essential ingredients for any life, or project, to flourish.
