The actress, who passed away in January at the age of 71, received two awards for her role in the Apple TV+ series 'The Studio'. O'Hara won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Comedy Series, as well as the award for Outstanding Ensemble Cast in a Comedy Series, shared with the rest of the cast. Her co-star, Seth Rogen, took to the stage to accept the awards on her behalf, prompting a standing ovation from the audience. A visibly moved Rogen shared heartfelt words about the late actress. As an anecdote, he revealed that O'Hara used to send him and his colleague Evan Goldberg emails the nights before their filming days, including completely rewritten versions of their scenes. “Literally, 100% of the time, it not only improved her character, it also improved the scene and the series as a whole,” he stated. Rogen concluded his speech with a heartfelt tribute, inviting the audience to share O'Hara's legacy with new generations. “If you have people in your lives who don't know their work… show them O'Hara dancing to Harry Belafonte in 'Beetlejuice',” I suggested.

“Show them O'Hara hurting her knee on 'Best in Show'… and tell people, while they laugh, that that's Catherine O'Hara; and that we were lucky to live in a world where she shared her talent with us.”

The camera captured the moment when Jenna Ortega, who worked with O'Hara on 'Beetlejuice 2',And Kathryn Hahn, also nominated and her co-star in 'The Studio', couldn't hold back their tears during the tribute.
