Emiliano Aguilar responds furiously to Leonardo Aguilar: “Tell me straight out of the box”
Once again, Emiliano Aguilar used his social media to address a member of his family and this time he went to Leonardo
Emiliano Aguilar once again uses his social media to address a member of his family and this time, he spoke about his brother, Leonardo. The trigger? Pepe Aguilar's youngest son made a joke about the rapper, sparking his rage.
During a concert in Phoenix, Leonardo Aguilar—the half-brother of rapper Emiliano Aguilar—made a joke about his older brother in front of the audience, referring to him singing “a rap.” What to many may have seemed like an innocent joke was, to Emiliano, a public humiliation.
In response, Emiliano didn't stay silent. Through an intense live video posted on his Instagram account, the urban artist launched a message filled with anger:
“You thought you were the devil, dude… You make people laugh at me when I'd already calmed down, but you're still a fucking angry dog ??there. Envelopes, there's my number. That whole family has my number. Don't be assholes and tell me personally via text. That whole fucking circus you guys are bringing… I'm standing firm here." Emiliano Aguilar
Emiliano made it clear that he would no longer tolerate any more public mockery or comments that discredit him in the eyes of his followers.
A conflict that goes beyond a joke
This is not the first clash between the brothers. In previous weeks, Emiliano had already expressed his annoyance over a photograph published on the account of the family pet, 'El Gordo Aguilar', where he was visually compared to a dog. For him, it was a clear sign that his presence in the family was seen as ridiculous, even by those who should be his allies.
Furthermore, Emiliano has maintained a tense relationship with his father, Pepe Aguilar, for some time. He publicly criticized Pepe's statements about his mother, Carmen Trevino—the singer's first wife and Emiliano's mother—, which deepened their estrangement.
For many observers, this confrontation with Leonardo is not only personal, but symbolic,Since he has remained steadfast in expressing his desire to have his own career without depending on his family's recognition.
While fans await a reconciliation—or a new statement—one thing is clear: the Aguilar dynasty is no longer just synonymous with rancheras and corridos. It's now also an example of how success can coexist with controversy.
