Facundo defends Alexis Ayala after controversial comment about Guana
The host spoke out about the controversial comments made by Alexis Ayala about Guana, stating that they were not with bad intentions
With the grand finale of “La Casa de los Famosos Mexico” just around the corner, tensions and friction between the participants are increasing. And one of the most talked-about moments came just days before Guana's elimination, led by actor Alexis Ayala. So much so that even former reality star Facundo joined the conversation and shared his opinion on the matter. Here's what he had to say!
Recall that during one of the reality show's themed parties, the soap opera villain questioned why the "Me caigo de laughter" star sang every day. And while at first it seemed like a harmless complaint, it wasn't long before it escalated.
“What I'm going to say is going to sound really good, but what the hell does he have to be singing every day if he's not a singer. He's a theater ensemble, he does musical theater,” Alexis Ayala expressed angrily, unaware that this comment would spark a controversy between the theater industry and the public.
It is for this reason that in a recent interview with Facundo, who starred in a marked rivalry with the actor during his time on the reality show, he was questioned about it to find out his position.
Against all odds, the host of “Incognito” came to Alexis Ayala's defense, arguing that his comments would have been influenced by alcohol, since he is also an actor and has participated in plays.
“I don't know, he's strange, I think he was drunk. Alexis, I don't think so.” Think like this, he's very intelligent, and it seemed like he let it slip that he wasn't, but I think he is intelligent. I think he let his bad luck slip, but he must have regretted it afterwards," the famous man explained.
He also defended the work of each of the components that make a production shine: "He's a man of the theater too, and everyone in the theater starts somewhere, and everyone has a very decent and respectable job within whatever world it may be. Just because you're part of an ensemble doesn't make you less than the main actor."
For his part,Guana himself has also reacted to Alexis Ayala's mention. In his statement, he stated that he does not feel offended, since throughout his extensive career he has had the opportunity to be part of internationally renowned projects.
"I am very proud to be part of an ensemble since I started. I have met talented people, and the theater ensemble in our country is in no way inferior to others like those on Broadway, London, Spain, or Argentina," he concluded.
