The Mexican host revealed that her contract with the television station will come to an end next December and that she is open to exploring new horizons
The Mexican host Galilea Montijo surprised by revealing that her contract with the Televisa network is about to expire, which opens the door to new possibilities in the professional field.
In a recent meeting with the press, the 53-year-old Guadalajara explained that the hiring process at the television station has evolved over the years, so exclusivity contracts have been gradually decreasing.
“Before they were for 10 years, then for 15 years, then for 5 years, then for 3 years,” he commented to the media.
According to his statements, the month of December will be when his employment relationship with the company must be renewed: “Now the contracts are usually from one to 2 years, so my contract would expire in December (…) I can tell you that I am with Televisa from now until December,” he commented.
Despite the opportunities that could arise in other television stations, Galilea Montijo is clear that she wants to continue working in the house that opened its doors to her since the 90s.
"I can tell you that I am 100% Televisa. In other words, wherever Televisa tells me, I will always be with Televisa," he said before the microphones.
To conclude, Galilea Montijo confessed that she would also like to be part of an international project. However, his current focus is his contractual situation with the television network.
