Jacob Elordi anticipates that the third season of 'Euphoria' will be “incredibly inventive"
The third season of 'Euphoria' will premiere in spring 2026 and new cast members have been added
Jacob Elordi, one of the stars of the acclaimed series 'Euphoria', generated even more anticipation for the third season during his appearance at the Academy Museum Gala, in an interview with Variety he shared some never-before-seen details about the new installment of the plot.
The actor described his experience filming the new episodes as “incredibly liberating”, highlighting the opportunity to play “something very different” from anything he had done before.
Elordi praised the vision of the series creator, Sam Levinson, stating that he has “built something incredibly inventive and cinematic” and that he believes that “people are going to love it.”
Despite his enthusiasm, Elordi revealed to Variety a curious fact: not even he knows the details of the overall plot. The actor explained that the production's approach is so unique to each character that the actors only know their own stories.
“Everyone focuses on different stories,” I commented. "I don't know what everyone else is doing. I had a very unique story... It's like FBI files. So it's great because I'll be able to enjoy the series like everyone else, as a fan, which I haven't been able to do before. I'm really excited."
In addition to all the information I have provided, I explained that the season "was shot on many different types of film stock and it's beautiful." Representatives for Warner Bros., the production company, have not commented on the matter.
New additions to 'Euphoria'
“Euphoria,” a critical and audience success that has earned 25 Emmy nominations and 9 awards, follows the lives of a group of high school students, led by Rue (Zendaya), as they navigate addiction, relationships, and social dynamics.
For this third season, expected in 2022, the return of much of the original cast is confirmed, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney. In addition, new faces such as Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Eli Roth, among others, have joined the cast.
Meanwhile,Jacob Elordi is immersed in promoting Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" for Netflix, where he plays the Monster alongside Oscar Isaac.
