Kris Jenner claims she got sick when she tried Ozempic: “It made me very bad”
The drug Ozempic has become a trend in recent days, since many celebrities have said that they use it to lose weight
The matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan revealed that he tried to use the drug to lose weight before he became famous, but the side-effects were so severe that he had to call her doctor.
Kris Jenner, known for her impeccable management of her daughters' fame and her own media empire, recently admitted that she tried Ozempic, the popular drug for type 2 diabetes that many celebrities use to lose weight, but the experience ended up being a resounding failure.
In a conversation for the SHE MD podcast, the 69 year-old businesswoman said that she fell severely ill after taking the injection ction. “I didn’t make an Ozempic. I tried it. We tried it once when nobody knew what it was, and it felt very bad,” he declared bluntly.
Jenner reported that the discomfort was so intense that he couldn't continue with his work routine. “I called my doctor and said: 'I can't anymore work. I can't, I'm very bad. I'm nauseated,'” he recalled. In the emergency, his doctor answered: “Okay, okay, let's try something else.”
Kim Kardashian's mother explained that, after that episode, she and her doctor investigated other alternatives at different health centers. Finally, they ruled out or completely used GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic and opted for a treatment with peptide injections, which according to Jenner adapted much better to their body.
While figures such as tennis player Serena Williams have publicly defended the use of LPG-1 to control weight, Kris Jenner prefers to stay away from these injections. Her prio rity, she states, is submitting to blood tests every three months to keep her hormones balanced, care that she considers fundamental for women's health after 45 years.
“I got really sick with that,” Jenner concluded, making it clear that, at least in the case of Ozempic, she doesnt intend to use it.
