Since the birth of his daughter Paris, Maluma has done nothing but talk about how wonderful it has been for him to become a father; However, the singer recently also spoke about the challenges he's faced in fatherhood.

In a recent interview with Hola! magazine, Maluma spoke about the difficulties and satisfactions he's experienced since becoming a father.

The Colombian singer confessed that the arrival of his first daughter brought months of very intense changes for both him and those around him, since he had never had the experience of being a father before.

"The first few months were somewhat complex, as if you were never used to being a father," shared the artist.

The adaptation was difficult not only because of the baby, but also because of the need to balance his new family responsibilities with his musical career.

Despite the challenges, Maluma was clear about the type of father he wanted to be: a responsible and present one. He recalled that he was the first to feed Paris when she left the hospital, and although they have help, he has dedicated himself to enjoying every moment with his daughter.

During the interview, Maluma also spoke about the doubts that arose about how to combine being a father with his professional life.

“If I'm a father, at what point am I going to get on stage, if I'm a father, at what point am I going to go to the studio?” the singer asked himself, who discovered that the key is finding a balance: “Not neglecting my home, but also not neglecting my career.”

Maluma added that what he needed was to enjoy time with his family and then go out to work, always with the happiness that his daughter is healthy.

In addition, the artist was proud of the resemblance he perceives between his little Paris and himself. “She brought out all my personality and she loves music,” said Maluma, who explained that his daughter also loves animals and freedom, and doesn’t like things being imposed on her.

Maluma shared one of his favorite moments as a father: taking Paris to his farm in Medellin,where she enjoys riding horses and refuses to get off. For the singer, these are moments that reflect the special connection with his daughter and the joy that fatherhood brings him.
