Manola Diez relives the accident that left her son blind

Manola Diez has given the public several moments full of strong emotions during her time on the Tv Azteca reality show, "La Granja VIP", and her most recent confession was no exception. The reason? She opened her heart about the tragedy that struck her family and deprived her son of his sight.
In an emotional chat with her partner Alfredo Adame, the former member of “Otro Rollo” was more sincere than ever before about the incident that occurred more than 10 years ago, while she was out of town for work reasons.
According to the 51-year-old celebrity, her son only partially lost his sight in one eye due to carelessness on the part of his father, who left the apartment where they were staying to buy a plane ticket for his eldest son.
Manola explained that in the meantime, her little sister stayed with Max, both 10 and 6 years old, respectively: “His little sister asks for some jelly... she grabs a little wooden knife with points, she stuck it all the way in,” she revealed before Adame's attentive gaze.
“My ex says he felt like he was going to give him a heart attack from the shock of seeing the floor covered in blood and having his eye in his hand. It was on December 27, 2012, and they spoke to me on the 28th, April Fool's Day. They say that mothers feel, not me, I went to sleep peacefully," she said during her story. However, the contestant described the moment she found out the news as one of the most difficult of her life: "He's fine but he had an accident yesterday. 'Is he alive?' is the first question I asked him, 'I want to hear it.' I was standing, I almost fell. I heard him and he says 'Mommy, forgive me. It was my fault,'" she explained. Regarding the recovery process, Manola Diez revealed that the doctors put the damage left by the incident on the table: "He said that 'he was going to lose his eye and we saved it,' and I was gone. All I wanted was to see Max. ' "We saved the eyeball; he lost the lens, cornea, and iris; we practically saved his eye. Don't worry,in two years he may be a candidate for cornea restoration and could recover 20% of his vision," he concluded.
"I get up, I go out, I start smoking, I start screaming like crazy," she responded when asked about how the accident affected her relationship. "Why do you think I'm a worried crazy woman if you didn't take care of him?" was the question she asked before their split.
