Margot Robbie dazzles Paris with her diamond necklace at the premiere of 'Wuthering Heights'
Margot Robbie's new film, alongside Jacob Elordi, 'Wuthering Heights' opens on February 13 in the United States
Margot Robbie transformed the Paris red carpet into a Victorian painting during the premiere of 'Wuthering Heights' this Monday. The actress, who plays Catherine Earnshaw in the adaptation directed by Emerald Fennell, wore a dazzling custom-made red velvet Chanel gown with a corset and a dramatic train accentuated with feathers. However, the true star of the evening was the jewelry. Robbie complemented her look with two exceptional pieces by renowned designer Lorraine Schwartz: a red velvet choker necklace set with 85 carats of champagne-colored diamonds—an antique center stone surrounded by a halo of brilliants and a pear-shaped pendant—and a matching 15-carat ring.
Schwartz, known for dressing stars like Beyonce and for coining the term “nude diamonds” for their skin-enhancing tone, created unique pieces, as no two champagne diamonds are alike.
'Wuthering Heights' Press Tour
This premiere in the City of Love is just another chapter in the press tour where Robbie has unfolded a striking fashion narrative, coordinated by Andrew Mukamal.
At the New York premiere, the actress stole the show in a black and red Schiaparelli dress and, above all, with the iconic Cartier necklace that belonged to Elizabeth Taylor: the Taj Mahal heart-shaped diamond, a famous gift from Richard Burton inscribed with “Love is eternal.”
For that occasion, she paired it with custom 35-carat Schwartz earrings. While Robbie embodies romanticism with her wardrobe, her co-star Jacob Elordi has maintained a serene elegance in keeping with his character, Heathcliff. In Paris, he opted for a chocolate brown suit over a high-necked shirt. With the film's premiere scheduled for the day before Valentine's Day, the tour promises to continue delivering visually stunning moments, merging the drama of Emily Bronte's novel with the spectacularity of haute couture fashion and jewelry.
