Martha Higareda and Alfonso Herrera reunite and move their followers
Martha Higareda and Alfonso Herrera were part of the cast of the Mexican film 'Amarte Duele', which premiered 20 years ago
Actors Martha Higareda and Alfonso Herrera starred in a reunion that sparked euphoria on social media. The image, shared by Herrera on his personal account, shows colleagues and friends together, more than two decades after having shared credits in the iconic Mexican film 'Amarte Duele' (Love Hurts), one of the most famous in the country. The post includes the caption: “RENATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”, an emblematic shout from the film, originally performed by the character Ulises (Luis Fernando Pena) towards the end of the story, becoming one of the most beloved and remembered scenes by the audience. Alfonso Herrera also wrote: "These past few months have been full of meetings. It was so nice to see you, dear Martha Higareda."
Although the actor did not reveal whether the meeting was for a personal or professional reason, the image immediately sparked a wave of reactions and speculation among his followers.
A reunion that revives old stories
It's not the first time the cast of “Amarte Duele” has caused a stir by reuniting. In 2020, a large part of the cast participated in a video call organized by the Golden Premier channel.
On that occasion, in addition to Higareda and Herrera, Ximena Sarinana, Zaide Silvia Gutierrez, Luis Fernando Pena, and Armando Hernandez were present.
During that emotional conversation, Martha Higareda shared an anecdote about the challenges she faced during filming, confessing that one of the most complex scenes for her was the one in which she had a close encounter with Luis Fernando Pena.
“At that time, I hadn't even taken my blouse off with a boyfriend,” the actress recalled. The recent encounter between Higareda and Herrera has left fans wondering if this picture is just a meeting of two colleagues or the start of a project that will bring them together again in front of the cameras.
