Natalia Jiménez won legal battle for custody of her daughter
A court in the United States ruled in favor of the singer, granting her custody of Alessandra and allowing them to travel and move together without restrictions.
The Spanish singer Natalia Jiménez scored a victory on a personal level. Between tears of emotion, the former vocalist of the group La Quinta Estación shared with her followers the resolution of a court in the United States that grants her permanent rights to the custody of her daughter, Alessandra, 10 years old.
This court ruling puts an end to a complex legal battle that the artist had been fighting since the beginning of 2021 against her ex-husband, producer Daniel Trueba, with whom she was married for five years before her divorce.
Through an emotional message on his social networks, Jiménez detailed the emotional and economic toll that this process meant on the American judicial system.
“As you know, for several years I have been in a legal battle to have the rights to raise my daughter, for example: to be able to travel with her to Mexico, decide which school she goes to, recover living expenses for her upbringing, etc. There have been several long, difficult and expensive processes,” the interpreter confessed.
The court's decision not only regularizes fundamental aspects of the minor's support and school decisions, but also represents crucial relief for the singer's professional and family agenda. The ruling formally authorizes the relocation of both, allowing them to move and travel together with greater freedom and fewer bureaucratic obstacles.
“I am very happy, because we have managed to get the judge to agree to relocate us with Alessandra so we can live together, without so many difficulties, without so many brakes and to be able to plan the life that Alessandra deserves to live, a life without so many conflicts,” said the artist with notable relief.
In addition to celebrating the ruling, the interpreter of “The Sun Doesn't Return” took the opportunity to express her deep gratitude to those who supported her during the litigation. Likewise, she sent a message of solidarity and encouragement to other mothers who are going through similar legal disputes, firmly urging them to persist and not give up on the goal of ensuring the well-being and company of their children.
