Ariana Grande's brother suffers a concussion after an accident in the musical “Titanique”
Frankie Grande received a strong blow to the face with props in full performance with Melissa Barrera
The public received a tremendous scare after the actor and singer Frankie Grande reappeared on his social networks with the news of his absence from the musical “Titanique”, where he shares credits with the Mexican Melissa Barrera.
The reason for his absence? A concussion caused by an accident that occurred in the middle of the staging, as revealed by the famous person through a message on his social networks.
Frankie, who is the brother of music star Ariana Grande, took to his Instagram account to inform his fans of his decision to prioritize his health to return to his character in “Titanique” better than ever.
The artist began his statement by revealing some details of the incident that led him to leave the stage during the performance last Monday, July 6.
"In the most shocking moment of Thursday's show, I threw the wheel into the air... and it hit me on the nose before I could catch it with my hands! Turns out that being gay doesn't give me superpowers to catch things. So I got a little "bump" (well, maybe a concussion)," he explained from his official profile.
However, Frankie soon clarified that after a thorough review of his medical team, he has been discharged and will soon be able to resume his activities in front of the stage: "I will be out of the show until tomorrow. See you soon, my love," he told his fans.
This is how the comments section under his publication collected thousands of messages of support from all those who closely follow his time on Broadway.
Wanting to see him back on stage as soon as possible, netizens wrote: "I thought someone punched you and I was about to tell them everything!!! I hope you recover soon!", "Get well soon, Frankie; you are a true icon, always. Stay strong" and "Get well, darling! I need my captain in top shape!", among others.
Along with his message, Frankie Grande posted a series of photographs that showed the damage caused by the accident on stage: a severe blow to his nose and part of his eye that is already beginning to heal.
The 43-year-old singer and actor is part of the successful parody musical “TITANÍQUE on Broadway”, giving life to a character called “Victor Garber”. The cast of the staging is completed by Marla Mindelle, Jim Parsons, Melissa Barrera, Deborah Cox, Constantine Rousouli, John Riddle and Layton Williams.
