Nicole "Snooki" 'Jersey Shore' star Polizzi reveals cervical cancer diagnosis
Through her social media, the reality star revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer at an early stage
Real-life TV star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, known for her role on the hit series 'Jersey Shore', shared shocking and personal news with her millions of followers: she has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
Through an emotional video posted on her TikTok account, Polizzi decided to update her fans on what she calls her “health journey.” Recorded from her car between medical appointments, the celebrity revealed the results of her latest biopsy.
“My cone biopsy results came back, guys, and it turned out to be stage 1 cervical cancer, called adenocarcinoma,” Snooki explained in the video. Despite the difficult news, the reality star remained hopeful and grateful. “Obviously, it wasn't the news I was hoping for, but it wasn't the worst either, simply because they caught it so early. Thank God!”
The news comes after Snooki herself reported in January that doctors had found cancerous cells in her cervix, but that further tests were needed to confirm the diagnosis.
At the time, she confessed to feeling “terrified,” a feeling that contrasts sharply with the courage and strength she displayed in her recent statement.
Snooki's Reflection
“2026 isn't turning out as I expected. But it could also be worse,” reflected the star, who also used her platform to raise awareness and support other women who may be going through a similar situation.
“Many women go through it in silence, with no one to talk to, and they get scared on their own. And that's how I was until I decided to upload the video about what was happening to me.”
Polizzi urged her followers not to neglect their health and to go to their preventative medical checkups. “Go to your appointments! I'm telling you, when you reach stage 2, I think you'll have to have chemotherapy. Nobody wants that! How scary! So go to your appointments.”
Nicole Polizzi, who rose to global fame with Jersey Shore in 2009, has been married to Jionni LaValle since 2014. The couple has three children: Lorenzo, 13; Giovanna, 11; and Angelo, 6.
