Ricky Martin wants to return to Montenegro despite the attack during one of his shows
The Puerto Rican artist took to his social networks to thank his fans for their love and ensure that he will only focus on the positive energy of that night.
Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin made it clear that no act of violence will tarnish his connection with the public. A few days after the incident that occurred during his presentation in Montenegro, where an unknown person threw tear gas, he sent a message of gratitude and promised that he will return to the European country.
Through his Instagram stories, the “La mordidita” singer shared an emotional text in Spanish, English and Montenegrin. "Montenegro, I'm only going to focus on the incredible energy I felt coming from you. A warm audience full of love," said the singer, minimizing the event that fortunately left no one injured.
“A lot of love always… and I will return,” added the Puerto Rican artist.
The attack took place during the start of the European leg of his “Ricky Martin Live” tour, coinciding with the country's independence celebrations.
In the middle of the show, tear gas launched near the stage caused the first rows to disperse and irritated the eyes and respiratory tracts of some musicians and attendees.
Although his work team and his publicist, Róndine Alcalá, advised him to permanently suspend the concert for safety reasons, the artist decided to return to the stage once the local authorities controlled the situation.
The singer's press office confirmed that the international tour will continue as planned, demonstrating Ricky Martin's commitment to music and his loyal fans.
