The Barranquilla native, who has had artists such as Alejandro Sanz and Danna Shakira joined the Bogota Women's Philharmonic Orchestra to deliver a powerful performance of the emblematic song from their album Fijacion Oral, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Alongside more than 70 musicians, Shakira delighted the audience with the new version of "La Pared," which she recently re-recorded for the album's anniversary. The accompaniment of violins, cellos, and double basses provided a majestic sound that elevated the song to another level, transforming it into a profoundly emotional and sonically powerful experience, which generated a standing ovation from the audience. This moment was also a tribute to the artistic power of women in music. With Saturday's concert in Bogota, Shakira concludes the Colombian leg of her tour, where she also performed in cities such as Medellin, Cali, and Barranquilla. During the concert, Shakira emotionally thanked her Colombian fans for allowing her to return and perform nine concerts in her homeland before continuing her tour in other countries in the region.
