Five years after her last episode, Sofia Vergara shared how she imagines the life of her character Gloria Delgado-Pritchett from the Modern Family series would be if the series hadn't ended.

In a recent interview with E! News, the Colombian actress revealed that her character on the long-running ABC comedy has big plans for her family.

“Jay and Gloria are probably getting ready for Manny to have already left for college,” Vergara said.

“I'm sure it would have been a really fun season to have Jay and Gloria together now with little Joe,” she added.

Vergara humorously added that Gloria might be selling her own salsa in New York, reflecting the character's entrepreneurial and joyful spirit.

The actress said she maintains a very close relationship with her former co-stars. “We're still like a family,” she said of the Modern Family cast.

“In everything we do, we're connected by a huge conversation with all the kids and all the cast. And we're always watching and supporting each other,” she added.

Modern Family officially ended in 2020 after 11 seasons, leaving an important legacy in television and in Sofia Vergara's career as one of the most recognized comedic actresses.
