“United for Venezuela” brings together Marc Anthony, Feid and more celebrities to support earthquake victims
Miami will host a charity event to support those who need it most after the tragedy in Venezuela. The appointment is August 16 at the Kaseya Center
Dozens of artists have joined together in a powerful initiative to support families left stranded as a result of the devastating earthquakes that shook Venezuela. This is “UNITED FOR VENEZUELA”, a coalition of organizations from the world of entertainment, whose mission is to mobilize communities around the world and accompany the Venezuelan people in the crucial stage of reconstruction.
One of the first activities on the agenda is an international benefit concert and telethon to be held at the Kaseya Center in Miami on August 16. This will be broadcast live to millions of homes in the United States and Latin America, through digital platforms.
According to the organizing committee, some of the most important figures in Latin music have already confirmed their attendance at this event.
Among the list of attendees who will entertain the evening are: Marc Anthony, Ricardo Montaner, Feid, Jay Wheeler, Elena Rose, Silvestre Dangond, Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Olga Tañón, Lasso, San Luis, Piso 21, Enrique Santos, Alleh and Zhamira Zambrano.
Likewise, it was announced that other artists, athletes, actors, personalities from the world of entertainment, communicators and leaders of the Hispanic community will be announced soon.
How to help during the “United for Venezuela” concert?
The dynamic to support affected families will be simple. During the broadcast, the public will be able to make donations through QR codes, text messages, digital platforms, corporate contributions and matching donation campaigns. All this while enjoying unique musical performances and stories that will show both the impact of the tragedy and the resilience, solidarity and strength of the Venezuelan people.
It was reported that the funds raised from said activity will be administered by recognized international humanitarian organizations to respond to the needs that will arise during the different phases of recovery.
In addition to the musical performances, the production will include special reports on the rescue efforts, the work of humanitarian organizations on the ground, testimonies from survivors and stories that will document the recovery process of the communities, reminding the world that rebuilding a country requires time, commitment and sustained solidarity.
This initiative, led by CMN, Maestro Cares Foundation, TelevisaUnivision and Pimiento Entertainment, with the support of: iHeartRadio, Spotify, Creative Link, EB Public Relations and Arco Entertainment, will be held at the Kaseya Center in Miami on August 16 and tickets will go on sale on Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on the Ticketmaster website.
