Electronic evidence and mobile phones have been seized during the raid. A case was registered regarding foreign funding on News Click.
According to the information received, former managing editor of NDTV Aunindyo Chakraborty, Urmilesh and Abhisar Sharma have been arrested on charges of terrorist links. The police raided the house of cultural worker Sohail Hashmi. Police also raided the house of News Click CEO Prabir Purkayastha. Besides, raids are also going on at the houses of Bhasha Singh and Teesta.
BJP had targeted Congress and News Click
