The government has taken major action in the Hotel Levana Suites fire case. Late Saturday night, 19 officers and employees of Fire Brigade, Energy Department, Appointment, Housing and Urban Planning (Lucknow Development Authority) and Excise Department have been suspended with immediate effect.
Action will be taken against the employees who have retired as per the rules of the government. Action has been taken against four employees of the Home Department, one from the appointed, eight of the LDA, three employees of the Excise Department.
