Rajasthan Police Chief DGP Umesh Mishra told that the in-laws of the victim had forcibly taken her to their village with them. The woman was in a relationship with another man, she lived with him. This angered her in-laws, due to which the woman's husband stripped her naked in front of the villagers on Thursday, the video of which surfaced on Friday.

Stripping his own wife in front of the villagers. On the other hand, the people of the village are standing there just watching the spectacle. No one from the village reached to save the woman. Rather, some people of the village are making videos of stripping. The video is really heart wrenching.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, DGP Mishra has sent ADG (Crime) Dinesh MN to Pratapgarh on Friday night. The DGP says that the state government has expressed grief over the incident. A case has been registered against the accused. Six teams have been formed for his arrest. Pratapgarh SP Amit Kumar has camped in the village.
CM Ashok Gehlot also tweeted
In the matter, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted that in Pratapgarh district, a video of a woman being stripped naked by the people of her in-laws has come to the fore in a family dispute between Pihar and in-laws. The Director General of Police has been instructed to send ADG Crime to the spot and take strict action in the matter. There is no place for such criminals in a civilized society. The criminals will be put behind bars as soon as possible and punished by prosecuting them in the fast track court.
BJP leaders appealed not to share the video
At the same time, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said in the matter that a pregnant woman was stripped naked in front of people. The video is going viral on social media and the administration is not even aware of it. Apart from this, other BJP leaders have appealed to the public not to share the video with anyone else. The incident has put Rajasthan to shame.
