Giving information, police said that on Thursday, the last day of the 10-day Ganpati festival, lakhs of people gathered on the beaches and lakes of the city to immerse the idols. The parents of the missing children had lodged a complaint at the DB Marg police station.
Team formed to find children
Senior city police officials formed several teams to find the missing children aged seven to 14 years. He said, the police also appealed on loudspeaker. At the same time, the search continued to find the missing children. After much effort, 22 missing children were finally traced.
