The speed of corona increased in Maharashtra, 3 patients of BA.4 and one patient of BA.5 found
In Mumbai, three cases of BA.4 and one case of BA.5 of Omicron, a sub-form of corona virus, have been reported.

Omicron Sub Variants: Amidst the increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra, four patients of Omicron sub variant have been found in Mumbai. Giving information on Monday, the Health Department of Maharashtra said that three cases of BA.4 and one case of BA.5 of Omicron, a sub-form of coronavirus, have been reported in Mumbai. Earlier on May 28, the Health Department of Maharashtra had reported for the first time that four cases of Omicron subfamily BA4 type and three types of BA5 were reported and all these cases were from Pune.
Experts told a slight wave to increase the cases of Covid in Maharashtra
Amidst rising cases of coronavirus infection in other parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, medical experts say that most patients have mild symptoms of the disease and the mortality rate is also low and no new worrying form of the virus has been seen. Experts have termed it as a light wave. Experts said that patients are being given Paracetamol and not Remdesivir drug which was used during the first and second wave of Covid-19.
In May, there were 9,354 cases of corona in Maharashtra
According to the data of the Health Department, 9,354 cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Maharashtra in May, out of which 5,980 were from Mumbai. Last month, 17 people died due to infection. Between June 1 and 12, 23,941 infected have been found in the state, out of which 14,945 are from Mumbai only and 12 people have died during this period. Dr Rakesh Mishra, director of the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society in Bengaluru, said that no new form of concern has been observed nor is there any sign of a new form of the virus in the country.
