Max Miller, Republican representative, denounces that a subject put his life at risk while driving
Max Miller claims that hatred towards Jews is behind the violent incident experienced against him
Max Leonard Miller, representative for Ohio, announced that an anti-Semitic individual put his life at risk by trying to eliminate him from the race while he was driving his vehicle.
The 36-year-old Republican published a video on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, denouncing someone he described as a disturbed individual who, carrying the Palestinian flag, made death threats against him.
“I will not hide from this blatant anti-Semitic violence. As I was driving to work, a deranged and disturbed man decided to honk his horn and run me off the road. When he couldn’t get my attention, he wanted to show me a Palestinian flag. Not to mention death to Israel, he wanted to kill me and my family,” she said.
Miller then claimed to have identified her attacker, whom she said authorities would soon arrest.
“You have a problem? Take it to our office. You want to run me off the road? That’s a different story. We know who you are, young man, and the police are going to pay you a visit. I hope what you did is worth it to you and anyone else who plans to do this to anyone in our district, state, or country,” she emphasized.
Local police, as well as the Capitol Police, agree that the representative for Ohio’s seventh congressional district filed a written complaint about the unusual incident.
Through A statement co-signed by House Minority Leader Hakeem Sekou Jeffries; House Minority Leader Katherine Marlea Clark; and Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Rey Aguilar condemned the violence against the Republican member. "We strongly condemn the attack on Congressman Max Miller and his family, and we appreciate their safety. The rise of political violence in this country is unacceptable. This is a moment of crisis that demands decisive action by Congress to ensure the safety of all members of the People's House," the statement reads. It should be noted that less than a week ago,State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband were shot and killed in their Brooklyn Park home, while State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were also shot multiple times inside their Champlin home.
