Susie Wiles praises Elon Musk intelligence and recognizes his contribution to government
The White House chief of staff still does not understand what led Elon Musk to become a detractor of the president
Susan Summerall Wiles, White House chief of staff, recognized the enormous intelligence of South African tycoon Elon Musk, with whom she says she felt comfortable working during the days when his ideas were used at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The four months in which the visionary co-founder of companies like Tesla and SpaceX served as a special government employee, orchestrating the largest number of mass layoffs on record at federal agencies and multi-million dollar cuts to government spending.
This situation was very uncomfortable for the 79-year-old Republican and was a trigger to break off his relationship with Musk despite the nearly $200 million that the businessman contributed in donations to his presidential campaign.
"Elon had a lot to offer us. He knew things that we didn't know about. He knew people and technologies that we didn't know about. It was great when it was great.
I enjoyed working with Elon. I think he's a fascinating person and he sees the world differently. And I think that's probably what the president saw as well. He's a little different from the citizen average,” the powerful Republican said during an interview with the New York Post.
"The president was very nice to him. I don't understand it. I don't know. It certainly didn't end well," she said.
It should be noted that the dispute between Trump and Musk is far from over, as the South African insists on continuing with the project of founding the America Party with the aim of taking power away from both Republican and Democratic politicians.
Although the mission is considered by most analysts to be very complicated to carry out, Musk's fortune supports him, but above all his enormous intelligence recognized by Susie Wiles, the woman who advises the nation's president.
