Gavin Newsom, governor of California, is promoting an initiative called “Golden State Start”, whose benefit at the state consists of do provide 400 diapers for every baby born in hospitals committed to their management of facing the high cost of living.

Baby2Baby, a non-profit organization based in California, took on the challenge of manufacturing all the diapers considered by the initiative promoted by Gavin Newsom.
Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof, co-executive directors of Baby2Baby, highlighted the importance of supporting the first-time parenting economy.
“We are extremely proud to collaborate on this historic initiative that will provide support to mothers and babies in their most vulnerable time.
Diapers are fundamental to our mission at Baby2Baby, since, alarmingly, one in two families in this country have difficulty affording them,” they detailed in a statement.
