Women's cricket teams are playing the T20 World Cup in South Africa, but the players of these teams will be eyeing the auction for the Women's Premier League (WPL) to be held on Monday. Players will be auctioned for the first time on the lines of IPL, in which 409 players have been shortlisted. Out of these only 90 players will be auctioned. That is, a team can have a maximum of 18 players.

Players from Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ireland, Zimbabwe including India are included while eight players are from Associate countries UAE, Hong Kong, Thailand, Netherlands and USA.

1- Smriti Mandhana, Batsman, India
She is a big face of franchise cricket and has also played in leagues like Women's Big Bash League and The Hundred. Smriti had scored more than 200 runs in the last The Hundred League at a strike rate of 151.79 and was at number two.
2- Shafali Verma, Batsman, India
She is an aggressive opening batsman and recently won the Women's T20 World Cup title. This will give him an advantage in the auction and the franchise can also make him captain by adding him with them.
3- Harmanpreet Kaur, Batsman, India
