The Indian team has been announced for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. In which veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja could not return. Jadeja has failed to recover from knee injury.
Yash Dayal also out of Bangladesh series
Apart from Ravindra Jadeja , left-arm fast bowler Yash Dayal has also been dropped from the team selected for the three-match ODI series to be held next month . Dayal could not return to the team due to a lower back injury. Jadeja underwent knee surgery after the Asia Cup in August-September and was ruled out of the team indefinitely.
Kuldeep Sen and Shahbaz Ahmed return to the Indian team
In the series against Bangladesh, fast bowler Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed have been included in the team in place of Jadeja and Dayal. The All-India Senior Selection Committee has included fast bowler Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed in place of Yash Dayal and Ravindra Jadeja for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh in December, the BCCI said. The BCCI updated on the injury of both and said, Dayal has a lower back problem, while Jadeja is yet to recover from a knee injury. He will be under the supervision of the BCCI medical team.
Kuldeep and Shahbaz are also part of the team in ODI series against New Zealand
Kuldeep and Shahbaz were initially named in the squad for New Zealand's three-match ODI series starting in Auckland from 25 November. Now he will be a part of the team going to Bangladesh. No substitute has been given for the ODI team of New Zealand tour.
Abhimanyu Easwaran named captain of India A team
Bengal's Abhimanyu Easwaran will lead India A against Bangladesh A in a two-match four-day series starting November 29 at Cox's Bazar. The second four-day match of this series will be played in Sylhet from December 6 to 9. Cheteshwar Pujara and Umesh Yadav, who are included in the Indian Test team, will be part of the second Test match of the A team. Its purpose is to provide them practice before the Test series.
Full schedule of India-Bangladesh tour
India have to play three ODIs (December 4, 7 and 10) and two Test matches in Bangladesh and a strong team led by Rohit Sharma will tour the neighboring country. The Test matches will be played in Chittagong from 14 to 18 December and in Mirpur from 22 to 26 December.
