Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz promised that he will give a beating to Ángel 'Tashiro' Fierro in the rematch that they will star in on July 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
In statements collected by The Ring, Pitbull Cruz assured that he is training hard to improve the flaws in his performance against Fierro in the first duel and repeat the victory.
“We are working even harder than last time so we can beat Fierro on July 19. He wants to make me angry, but I fight with a cool head and a warm heart. He is not going to distract me by saying baseless stupidities. The first time we were a little disinterested, but not this time. It is pure internal motivation. No pain, I just work to get the best possible result. All I do is go from the gym to home and back,” he said.
“My mentality is always to fight as if I were losing, because that brings out the best in me. I lacked consistency in the pressure in the first fight and I let him think. We have a plan to fix it and implement a greater variety of punches to achieve the objective. This fight will end with my victory in the best possible way,” he added.
In the first fight in February of this year, Pitbull Cruz started very aggressively and made Ángel Fierro retreat. on several occasions. Both Mexican warriors connected with more than a thousand blows and lifted the audience from their seats.
