Donald Trump's company will sell real-time access to his publications on Truth Social
Trump Media & Technology Group intends to sell investment firms real-time access to messages Donald Trump posts on Truth Social
Through a data interface called Truth API, it plans to sell banks, investment funds and Wall Street firms ultra-fast, real-time access to the publications of the man who governs the nation.
Without yet revealing the amount of money that companies and people interested in accessing the messages published by Trump on the social network he owns as soon as possible will have to pay, it is expected that they will be able to have the service described as of August 1.
The firm's commitment consists of delivering in milliseconds the data requested by whoever contracts its service.
Through a statement, Kevin McGurn, interim CEO of the company, referred to the scope of the announced project.
"Markets are already reacting to Truth Social posts. The Truth API offers a direct, licensed, real-time stream of the platform's most influential truths, while driving our strategy to monetize proprietary assets through a high-margin recurring revenue stream," part of the letter states.
In response to most social media platforms suspending Donald Trump's accounts by linking him to the riots at the Capitol, on January 6, 2021, the 80-year-old Republican took on the task of creating his own, which he decided to name Truth Social.
Currently, the billionaire's profile has 12.9 million followers waiting for whatever he wants to publish.
