Experience with clubs in several countries
At the club level, Osorio has managed teams in the United States, Egypt, Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil, most notably his stints at Sao Paulo and Athletico Paranaense, which reinforces his knowledge of Brazilian football and the demanding environment of the Brasileirao.

The Remo board expressed its support for the new coach and wished him a “successful career” at the helm of the Amazonian team. The main objective for the 2026 season, which will begin next January, will be to secure their place in the Brazilian Serie A.Historic Promotion of the Blue Lion
The Blue Lion achieved promotion to the top tier this year along with Coritiba, Athletico Paranaense, and Chapecoense, by finishing among the top four in Serie B.
Remo, which had not played in the first division since 1994, secured the last promotion spot on the final matchday of the championship, culminating a historic campaign that now seeks to consolidate with the arrival of Juan Carlos Osorio to the bench.
