Lamont Roach Jr. will take advantage of the mistakes made by Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz, interim 140-pound champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), to defeat him on December 6 in San Antonio, Texas.

In an interview with Fight Hub TV, Roach Jr. explained that the style of Pitbull Cruz is aggressive, but believes he can hurt him because he assured that he will maintain his power at 140 pounds.

“He is still a fixed target. It is not that they work to be defensive. I think he is still relentless, he is still brutal, the same fighter who wants to hurt whoever gets in his way,” he said.

“I think he makes some mistakes and leaves himself totally exposed so that I can hit him very cleanly. He is going to realize that even if I move up in weight class, I hit hard,” he added.

The two former rivals of Gervonta Davis will measure their strength and the Mexican fighter starts as the favorite to win the fight, but some think that the American could pull off an upset.
